Non-Apple smartphone on a budget?

Hi there,

I have an old IPhone 4. It can't even run an OS recent enough for the bulk of the apps I want to use. It's also slow and laggy.

My friends recommended the oneplus, but that phone is too expensive.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a phone under $200 that isn't an Apple product (would like to try something new) that would be able run the bulk of the apps your average person would want to run?
